RadSpeed Trauma DR

Shimadzu For the fastest possible imaging when seconds count!

Only RadSpeed Trauma DR from Shimadzu (Developed and sold exclusively through Mikron Digital) provides this important and potentially life saving imaging ability. What makes it so important? First, ask yourself, in a worst case scenario, when all three, four, or more bays are full of patients clinging to life with three, four or five people working to save each patient with all of their required gear taking up almost all of the available floor space... How are you going to get a portable x-ray unit into the bay to take the x-ray?

Answer: RadSpeed Trauma DR. Easily gliding over the top of your critical life support equipment, RadSpeed Trauma DR allows physicians to quickly place the tethered DR detector, fire the x-ray, and in 3 seconds get the image needed to make that critical decision. When lives are at stake and seconds count, accept nothing less.

Designed exclusively for Emergency Department Trauma Units
The RadSpeed Trauma DR system is comprised of a single detector Canon CXDI-55G/C, and an overhead (Ceiling) tube mount spanning up to 40 feet for installation in diverse and/or difficult environments. Custom brackets are created to mount the detector directly on the Ceiling tube mount, allowing service for up to three trauma bays with one detector and Ceiling tube mount. There is no table or wall stand included in this package as it was designed to integrate with existing equipment. This is a highly desired system and is a front-runner in the quest to combine technology, form, function, and the efficiency of a top-end digital imaging system in a fast-paced environment.

RADspeed Safire

Cutting Edge Digital Images with Direct Conversion FPD

Safe, easy and fast acquisition of clear radiographic images. Direct-conversion FPD system in a refined total design package for ideal, real-time diagnosis.

Wide 16-bit Dynamic Range Faithfully Renders Even Low-Dosage Regions

Even at low dosage levels, the wide 16-bit dynamic range ensures clear rendering of subtle shading in images.

Wide-view 17 inch FPD Meets a Variety of Examination Needs

The system produces large 17" x 17" images, while maintaining the extremely high resolution of 150Zµm. The wide view 17 inch FPD is large enough to capture sizeable areas on maximum size film.

It provides distortion free, ultrahigh-definition images of the full abdominal region and provides a wide examination area when used for orthopedics.

Extensive Clinical Experience Ensures a Wide Range of Useful Image-Processing Features

  • Exposure Data Recognizer. Extracts image range, and uses resulting histogram to adjust image density and contrast.
  • Grayscale Adjustment. Optimizes density and contrast settings for each area being examined.
  • Multi-Frequency Processing. Enhances image density and fine-detail structures, allowing viewing of regions/areas that previously could not be distinguished.
  • Frequency Processing: Enhances contrast in areas with fine detail for better visibility.
  • Dynamic Range Control Processing: Easier to distinguish previously difficult-to-render areas, such as low- or high-density areas.
  • Flexible Noise Control Processing: Suppresses noise elements to improve granularity.

Versatile laser image output matches operating styles

Since the magnification rate of printout images can be adjusted according to the laser imager used, images can be printed in the same size at all times, even if imagers are changed. It also is possible to set a desired magnification rate or change the display split pattern according to the application

Canon CXDI-70C Wireless

Canon Inc first wireless, cassette-size digital radiography (DR) system: the CXDI-70C Wireless. The wireless system eliminates the sensor cable for improved operability while delivering greatly enhanced image quality.

The newly developed Canon CXDI-70C Wireless enables handling similar to current film-cassette X-ray systems for effortless operability and superior portability. The model's 35 x 43 cm effective imaging area offers the same dimensions as current ISO4090 compliant film-cassette models, allowing digitalization without the need to modify existing analog imaging equipment.

The CXDI-70C Wireless incorporates a new Canon-developed glass substrate with a pixel pitch of 125 microns and, despite realizing a higher resolution as compared with the company's current 160-micron pixel-pitch DR systems, the new model delivers an increased level of sensitivity. In addition, the unit features a Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillator, which delivers high-quality images while reducing X-ray exposure for the patient.

LANMIX MLT(S) Image Processing
In addition to Canon’s advanced noise reduction processing, MLT(S) image processing utilizes the multiple frequencies within the image data to emphasize edges and display appropriate dynamic range. Images of extremities, for example, show the subtle details of trabecular bone structure and soft tissue in high diagnostic accuracy. This process can be preset for repeatability as well as adjusted post-acquisition for variances in diagnostic requirements.

Enhanced Productivity and Program Imaging Mode
Program Imaging Mode for Canon CXDI Digital Radiography control software with DICOM Modality Worklist assists in optimizing workflow in the imaging suite. This high performance solution utilizes the Procedure Code ID from the RIS to configure the exam on the CXDI Digital Radiography system.

Canon’s LANMIT® Technology
Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Sensor (LANMIT®) consists of a precision amorphous silicon metal-insulator semiconductor (MIS) sensor and Thin Film Transistor (TFT) array. LANMIT® flat panel sensors produce a highly stable output signal. The result is a family of reliable and durable sensors that provide the highest quality images without the time and costs involved with film or cassette handling. A 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion process converts the raw image to digital form producing a high-resolution, high-contrast 4,096 grayscale image.

Seamless Network Integration
Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base T connectivity with DICOM 3.0 compatibility enables seamless data transfer to any DICOM hard copy output device, PACS, or HIS/RIS for efficient printing, archiving, and remote viewing of images. The system complies with IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards for interoperability to ensure easy, effective integration with the hospital network.
